About Dr. Peterson

Dr. Mark Peterson is a pediatrician with over 10 years of experience and is fluent in Portuguese. He graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Dayton Children’s/Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Dr. Peterson has worked in various locations and served as the Chief Medical Officer at Hill Air Force Base.

Dr. Peterson enjoys teaching and educating his patients and their families and strives to make medical visits enjoyable and less intimidating for his young patients. He values parental input and encourages their active involvement in their children's care. Dr. Peterson is passionate about plant and herbal medicine, is experienced with osteopathic treatments for sports-related injuries, and has training in allergy immunotherapy.

Outside of work, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his family and is an active sports enthusiast. He and his family enjoy spending time outdoors and tending to their farm in Rexburg.
